Stanford Shoss graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University, New Orleans, La., with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Shoss completed his general surgery internship at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas, and his otolaryngology - head and neck surgery residency at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Shoss is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board.

Dr. Shoss holds memberships in several professional and honor societies, and has served three individual terms as Otolaryngology Section Chairman at Memorial Southwest Hospital. His hospital affiliations include Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital, West Houston Medical Center, Memorial Hermann - Katy, Memorial Hermann - Memorial City, St. Christus - Katy and Doctors' Surgical Center.
