Eugene C. Lou earned his bachelor of science in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Mass. before graduating from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas with his Medical Doctorate. He then went on to complete both his internship and orthopedic surgery residency with the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Lou is is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

His staff privileges include West Houston Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Hospital - Memorial City, Texas Orthopedic Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital - Southwest, The Methodist Hospital, Katy Medical Center, Methodist Health Center - Sugarland, Sugarland Surgery Center and Doctors Surgical Center.

Dr. Louis is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Texas Orthopedic Association, Baylor College of Medicine Alumni, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alumni.
