Marvin Lerner earned his medical degree from the University of Texas in Galveston. He completed an internship at John Sealy Hospital and his an otolaryngology - head and neck surgery residency with the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Residency Program in Houston. Dr. Lerner also served in the United States Army Reserve where he was Commander of the 811th Stat. Hospital.

In addition to being Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Lerner is a member of several professional associations and has held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine and Chief of the Ear, Nose and Throat Section at Memorial Hospital Southwest, Houston, Texas.
